Inspired by GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Hi-Power universal mufflers with features found exclusively on racing exhausts. The HKS Hi-Power universal muffler can be used for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated car applications. Certain HKS Hi-Power applications are available in a Silent Hi-Power version which has an inner silencer built into the muffler.

Like the mufflers used in the HKS Drager exhaust systems, the HKS Hi-Power universal muffler is made from high-quality SUS304 stainless steel. Each HKS Hi-Power universal muffler can have tip sizes of 96mm or 120mm in diameter and an inlet size of 60mm to 75mm. These universal mufflers come with only the muffler section and requires custom pipe fabrications for installation. They are perfect for applications where exhaust systems are not readily available or for any application where custom pipe fabrications are needed.

HKS also developed exclusive Special Edition HKS Carbon Titanium Hi-Power and Hi-Power Ti universal mufflers. Often times referred to as the HKS Ti muffler series, these exclusive versions of the HKS Hi-Power universal muffler consist of either a carbon-fiber wrapped shell or polished SUS304 stainless shell with a heat treated titanium tip.
