Designed primarily for track use, the Exedy Stage 4 Clutch Kit features twin-plate clutch disc made in either cerametallic or carbon fiber. The Exedy Stage 4 Clutch Kit comes in 2 types: cerametallic or carbon fiber. The cerametallic clutch version includes a heavy-duty twin-plate 6-puck cerametallic clutch disc. The carbon fiber version includes a twin-plate full-disc carbon fiber clutch disc. Both versions are made to handle the extreme torque and heat generated by high-powered engines.
The carbon clutch is strictly recommended for track use only because it will require the clutch to be warmed up to optimal temperature. The cerametallic clutch may be use on the street, but is not normally recommended.
Every Exedy Stage 4 Clutch Kit includes a heavy-duty but lightweight forged aluminum pressure plate. The kit also includes a lightweight chromoly flywheel to make a complete kit.
