Designed for modified engines, the Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch Kit is built to withstand the abuse that comes with increased horse-power. The cerametallic friction material can handle much more slippage than stock clutches without slipping and fading. All Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic clutch kits use a 3-puck clutch disc to deliver superior gear shifting with minimal slippage.
The Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch Kit comes in 2 versions:
- Thick clutch kit which features a normal thickness clutch disc
- Thin clutch kit which features a thinner clutch disc
Normal thickness discs have greater heat capacity and therefore better durability in demanding applications such as all-wheel drive. Thin clutch discs offer greatly reduced inertia to improve gear shifting efforts. The thin clutch discs are approximately 1/2 the thickness of a stock disc and are recommended for track use only.
